We do all of the development at work on VM images, as we are supplied with Macs through work and thus cannot use natively the languages with which we develop.. The development VM this morning has given me a BSoD at least 4 times, and I've only been here 30 minutes.. It won't even reach the login stage after boot up (which is strange as we suspend it.. we never turn it off).. Has anyone had this problem before or aware of anything that might help? I'm still kinda new to Macs and stuff, and this is kinda a big problem
Thanks

Okay, never mind. It just fixed itself.. Head Dev opened it on his MacBook, had the same problem. Tried opening it up on mine again (is stored on an external HDD so we can both access it when necessary) and it's done some reformatting and fixed itself.. I don't understand and I won't even try to

try turning it off and then turning it back on again.
failing that ask your boss !
you only worked there 5 minutes, its not unreasonable to ask for a bit of help!

It fixed itself randomly. I fail to understand Head Dev didn't know what to do either though, it was a very strange occurence and we were both perplexed by it

Shouldn't have been that. I suspended it, closed it. Exited the VMware program entirely then ejected the external HDD.. Same as I always do and I've never had any problems before. And all the edited files that I'd saved before suspending it were in the condition I'd left them in, which is good as I hate rewriting code
