Who has used a Pipercross filter?

Post by mik_str »

Did a quick search and found that Stormin Ben and Seb had both used them.... to everyone who has, I was wondering how you liked them? what set-up changes were needed? any dyno results?

thanks in advance

I've got one on mine, but it was on it when I got the bike so I can't help you with setup I'm afraid.

I'm sure Seb will post a bit of info on his experiences. He should be able to remember what his setup was.

Hell yeah , well it's a bit poorly at the the minute but that's nothing to do with the air filter( it's developed a few issues while it was stood for a year or so)

took a few days to get it rideable and weeks of fettling to get it feeling spot on

its a massive fast flowing air filter the hole area of the filter is breathable

gave a great induction noise too

did you get a chance to strap it to a dyno to see what improvement, if any, it gave you?

I have tried OEM K&N and BMC street... Piper is about the only I haven't yet tried, lol
