Hi All. Anyone know the paint code for the engine casings its a 2000 model there like a brown grey type colour, Or has anyone ever had them powder coated and was they ok just thought of the temp they have to get them to for powder coating would it warp them and lead to leaks

I could tell you, but why do want it in code?

I don't speak Morse.....

But I could whistle it in Fax if that helps.

I had some powder coated, just bolt them to a steel sheet and that will means the mating faces aren't covered in plastic.
With the clutch cover, the little oil window just pops out.

They won't distort.

Nice one Nickcv that is a very handy link. I notice they don't have the later engine case colour which is a shame. Very useful link though. :clap: :clap:

They are about 20 mins away from me and will make up the correct colour (base, main & top coat) in a couple of days if they are given a sample piece to examine. Very helpful folk who do a lot of business with the classic restoration fraternity.
I have a spare sprocket cover in the late colour and I intend to get them to match it. When I get round to it.

I would be interested in the later clutch cover colour as well as I need to re-do my pebble dash which has blistered and peeled with the heat. When you go down there ask them if they can add the colour to their database. I'm sure they could sell a few cans of that.
