new boy
Have just joined this forum as i want to buy a VTR so hope i will learn a bit before i buy, am selling my GSX1400 to finance this project and hope to find a cherished bike, any help will be welcome.
Re: new boy
Welcome to the club mate. Have a good read through the workshop section to get up to speed with the couple of issues which haunt the VTR. Good luck Storm hunting

Hi there & welcome:) Gosh what a difference you will experience compared to the 1400. the first thing will be the weight. The VTR will be over 30 - 35 kilos lighter
What kind of money will the 1400 fetch?? Decent low mileage VTR's come in at 1600 - 1900. Below 1600 & the bike will probably look a little tatty. Check for any sellers on here first & also see how many posts they have made, high posters mean they are active & you will get a solid buy.

I agree M8 but I would say that, those who come to the site just to sell, their machines will not be known.
