Hyperpro Kit
Hi, Has anyone used one of these front and rear suspension kits and did it make it any better, The kit comes with progressive fork springs new oil and a progressive rear shock spring £200 is it worth it
Re: Hyperpro Kit
Yes it is...
I have HP front springs & they were £116 IIRC so 200 inc rear is good, the rear should be weighted for your weight, inc your kit. Only issue I can see with that is the stock shock is basically crap & depending on age & mileage would probably need a rework as well...

Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

Re: Hyperpro Kit
Front forks usually require re valving
Re: Hyperpro Kit
These are well recommended, they work much better than the std ones even on the Hyperpro recommended settings, and you can specify what weight oil you want as well.
I've fitted several sets for various people, and they're a great upgrade.
But yeah, you'll want to do the shock as soon as you ride it.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Hi Fitted front & rear progessive springs to my storm 6 months ago, generally better all round, front end has more feeling, the same goes for the rear, when small adjustments are made I can feel the change, as others have said the rear shock is the best thing in the world. The standard settings work a lot better on the new springs than the original. I am still fine tuning, waiting for the sun to shine
so that I can get out and ride the thing.

Nope, just slapped the forks in with fresh oil and enjoyed.carmanbikes wrote:Hi Tony, When you have fitted them in the past did you revalve themtony.mon wrote:These are well recommended, they work much better than the std ones even on the Hyperpro recommended settings, and you can specify what weight oil you want as well.

Only for other people, though, although I always test ride a bike I work on.
I'd have said that if you're going for a revalve then it's worth considering getting a sussie company to do the whole thing, unless you happen to have the money to buy cartridges from Ohlins.....
But the simple spring and oil replacement is a very noticeable difference, and will satisfy most straight out of the box.
