Post by RAINMAKER »

July 6th.............Barton Bike Night just to the south side of the Humber bridge in the town of Barton-upon- Humber.
about 6 to 7 thousand bikes all through the town, stall, events and lots of pubs, food usually high police presence on the approaches but laid back.
I usually go about 6 pm.
meet at humber bridge north bank 6pm near shop in car park.

Count me in Paul unless its pissing down like this morning, or last night, forecast is reasonable though. Good to meet fellow stormers, see you at the bridge

Where was everbody, :?: i waited in car park by TIC until 1/4 past, then went across bridge, big discount tonight only £1. A fair few there, saw some-one who I havn't seen for about 5 years, he had just dropped his bike on the way down the hill. Only saw 1 other storm a dark blue 53 reg with a pillion. Waterproof books leak, waterproof coveralls leak around crotch, but it always amazes me how much I enjoy riding even when its pissing down, must remeber to not let a bit of water put me off in future. I amy be up for a ride out on sunday if anyone is interested

My fault, didn't go after all, assumed the rain would put eveyone off.
Sincere apologies, if known you would go in rain I would have gone too.
