AMCQ said that when when I seen him at Hatton earlier, had it on the lift an it all seems free enough?

Re: weave!!!
If it has taper rollers fitted you can't tell they are to tight by rotating on the lift, You have to slacken till they clunk when braking, then just tighten a bit till the clunk stops!

Lol cheers.. Quite fun on these bikes just popping it up in first, just getting used to the 2nd gear clutch ups now

Re: weave!!!
3500 rpm and dip the clutch in 2nd....had a nice long one on way out, but try and keep them low with daughter on the back

Re: weave!!!
Feels harder to wheelie in 2nd than my rsv n gixxer 750 did, bit of practice on a quiet road an I'll be back on itAMCQ46 wrote:3500 rpm and dip the clutch in 2nd....had a nice long one on way out, but try and keep them low with daughter on the back

Re: weave!!!
What's your rear tyre like and rear sag .
Re: weave!!!
Rear tyres not bad.. It's a Pirelli Dragon, loads of tread on it, static sag think it's about 10mmlloydie wrote:What's your rear tyre like and rear sag .
Re: weave!!!
Might also be worth adding more damping on the front end. Add a good few clicks and see if it makes any changes
Sag at 10mm is about right, I run 8. What's the front sag?

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: weave!!!
Joe, was talking to Jo today and she was saying that this weave is doing your head in, but it sounds like something my bike had last year.
does the weave feel like the bike is hinged in the middle? Like the swing arm is loose or flexing?
If so then I am doubly sure it is your front forks not set right to match the rear shock. I spent ages playing with the rear shock and tyre pressures To no avail then I made some adjustments to the front and fixd it.... I had to wind the rebound adjuster up to full to get rid of it so over the winter I changed the oil from 7.5 to 10weight and now it is gone.
As your bike has a blade front end fitted it might not have been set up correctly to suit the storm. Try adding a lot more comp and rebound and see what effect that has.

With all this talk of rake and trail recently, I wonder how the blade front end effects this.As your bike has a blade front end fitted it might not have been set up correctly to suit the storm. Try adding a lot more comp and rebound and see what effect that has.
