I had same problem and fitted a set of mirror extenders made by BSAbloke on this forum. Looks standard but works perfectly

Hi,
Just finishing off 6 sets of extenders. Waiting for stainless steel bolts to be delivered. All should be available for delivery by the weekend.
5 more sets under construction.
Standard ones give 50mm extension to the mirrors. If longer one are required i can make them to order.
Prices on the forum are £25 delivered. Ebay price £25 + £4 delivery.
Post or pm if you require any.
Thanks
Richard

Thanks for the plug amcq.
Do either of you have any pictures of the completed conversion?
I wouldn't mind doing it but don't fancy trimming the bodywork.

Richard as you extenders. seem to be an ongoing thing and popular item that fixes the elbow in mirror issue. Iv'e been thinking it would be a good idea if you had a dedicated thread as a sticky in the Sales section. Stick some pictures on there as well buddy.

I'm still not great on this interweb thingy. Not fathomed out posting pictures yet, so still relying on vtrdh to help me out. Should be able to sort out with a 1 to 1 lesson, on my next visit over the pond!

When you start a new thread, at the bottom you have various options, you can select it as being a sticky there and stick 0 in the days so it's a continuous sticky, or I you want I can do it for you. As for pictures if you want I can take the pics from the following http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 40#p236812 or if you go into the quote button you can just copy and paste the image code across into the new thread. Either way I'm here to help

Sorry Mac that is outside my division but I mat be able to help with the grass. Try stamping on your foot with a very large hammer as this will take the itchy back away. :biggrin
