How the hell do you mine a bitcoin? & yes I would hold onto at least half till the price comes back up

Do the Haslam track day ! I have done a few and its the best money I spent :thumbup:

Originally you could use a computer processor to break some encrypted algorithms and in return you got bitcoin at a decent rate. As more people did it you needed something faster to make it profitable, so people used fast graphics cards. Now you need specialist hardware called ASICs to do it as that many people are into it now.

I already decided against that to be honest. I sold quite a few bit coins, and then bought back the majority of them when the price went down. I ended up with about £1000 in cash and 35 bitcoins left over. I spent most of the cash on my Drift Ghost, loads of bits for that, 2 of the 3 track days and an anniversary present for Sarah.
