Single Exhaust Problem

Post by robby_firestorm »

Hi guys

Not sure what I should do and wondered if you could help me. My firestrom has a single sided exhaust the exhaust has been cut and welded. I'm not sure it is running right as it pops and back fires.

What I want to know is should I buy a set of front pipes and put the twins back on or could I take it to Hm racing and get a dynojet kit fitted. Would this sort the problem or is there no way the single pipe will work?

Cheers

Lloydie had the single pipe working OK so you might want to look at some of his posts to see how he set the jetting up. He has now abandoned the single pipe as the V2 pulses killed his single carbon can

It works fine if setup correctly... BUT! You should know that using a single pipe, you will without exception loose mid range grunt, gaining top end... So its a compromise...
