Hi peeps I have a 99 storm with 30k, I havent had it long but have noticed that it has a slight misfire at high revs when under load? its bloody annoying as when i go to overtake something it misses :confused

Any info is welcome thanks :D

Hi mate, I posted something ages ago about a misfire at high revs.

I tried all sorts to get it fixed, but it ended up being crap fuel in the tank.

Try that first. Empty it and refil with super.

If that doesn't fix it, try:

Check coils and leads within tolerance - check with ohm meter against manual stated values
Check plugs
Check compression
Check carbs - split in diaphragm, blockage somewhere?

Thanks mate il check all these out! Ive also been told to check the side stand sensor.

Doin my nut in..... :confused

Oh yeah, that was another one, the side stand sensor, but it's probably a last resort.

Do what I didn't, start with the easy one - fuel

Next easiest is the plugs, then leads and coils, then carbs, compression (if you have the kit)
