Batt charging with system 3
Got a Datatool system 3 fitted, want to connect a battery optimiser, the instructions with the alarm say to put in service/valet mode and remove fuse. Bit of a pain and getting earache off missus for the constant beep beep. Do I need to have in service mode and remove fuse?

I think that is only required for disconnecting the battery. If your just clipping crocodile clips on then dont worry. Better still, and battery will need disconnecting for this, fit the Optimiser battery cable so you have a permanent connection to clip the Optimiser into.

Plan to hard wire to the battery, have a carrier fitted and removing seat is a pain. So should be OK to plug and go?
