For Sale - Silver Firestorm - SOLD

For sale is my Firestorm which I've had for around 2 years. As you can see I use it for touring and such like. I'm selling the bike complete as you see it in the photos. All ready for getting around.

1998.
Mileage 36k.
MOT till April 2014.
Tax till end August 2013.
Regularly maintained.
Carbs balanced in July.
Manual CCTs installed.
New heated Grips.
Large capacity 18 amp battery.
New regulator/rectifier.
Scottoiler.
Hugger.
Tyres have both done about 2000 miles, loads of tread left.
High bar conversion, 3" up and 2" back. Great riding position with no more backaches.
Braided hoses on the front.
Full GIVI luggage.
BMW Motoraad Navigator SatNav.
VENOM aftermarket exhausts.
Baglux cover and tank bag (one side strap missing from cover, I use a bungy to fix it down).

Done a tour in July down to near the Austrian border without a hitch.

Bike returns in the region of 40/45 miles per gallon.

From the photos you may see I have removed the rear pegs. This was done to see if I could fit larger GIVI boxes as my pal had some. Unfortunately he smashed his bike on the holiday and both boxes were done in before I had a chance to try them out. I have the pegs. I reckon larger boxes will fit, but the rear indicators will need to be repositioned. I travel solo and the smaller top loading boxes shown are perfectly adequate.

I'm looking for £1700 for the bike. I think it's a fair price considering all the usual problems have been sorted, and is not needing anything.

Bike is only available for viewing at the weekend.

Clicked the original link & it brought up a load of pics, mainly of hairy bikers around camp fires & such like & one of a elbow under a kilt being lifted...

That's when I gave up looking for pic's of a Silver Storm...It's left me scared for life...the kilt elbow thing not the Silver Storm, although that's running a close second...
