STARTER MOTOR TURNING OVER SLOW
I just rebuilt a storm due to being seized, one of the clutch spring bolt had come undune and gone into the inside of the clutch cover smashing the silver bit inside the cover, one big bit of metal getting suck in the oil pump hence seized, the bike had been sitting around for about a year, i do not know how it run before, since the rebuild when i you try to start the bike it turn over very slow just like when it has a flat battery. i have changed the battery, checked battery cables, Change the starter motor and cable, I am starting it with a power pack but even then it still very slow, it runs ok when started ticking over, i have not rode the bike yet.

Really make sure the cable connecting to the starter motor is clean. I had the same issue, removed & gave it a good filing & all was sweet again.

Try running a jump lead from the earth on the battery straight to the engine
Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most
Re: STARTER MOTOR TURNING OVER SLOW
so straight from the neutral terminal to the engine, would that by pass the bad earth?

Yep,just make sure you've got a good contact then try and start it, if its ok you've got a bad earth. If not, well,we'll cross that bridge when we come to itblob748 wrote:so straight from the neutral terminal to the engine, would that by pass the bad earth?
