That's why I like it. It's believable. I just couldn't believe anyone would be so stupid to go pour a gallon of oil over the top of the complete engine.

It's very thin for oil & seems to be clear as well...now what could that be ??

Well put it this way, if she was that thick how would she know it needed oil in the first place

Re: Woman Adding Oil To Her Car Engine
Oh, don't worry... There are people that will do just that...
A mate of mine, that after having the gf drive his old beat up car for a few months as he had a company car, with specific instructions to top of the oil at regular intervals since it needed it, and then ended up diagnosing it after failure... And after finding a lot of oil on the outside, but no obvious leaks and the engine seized started asking questions... And after all the obvious ones had been asked, found out that she had indeed added oil to the engine in this way... When you look at it from her perspective seems fairly reasonable... I mean, its basically how you add oil for lubrication to a chain or whatever... They are now married, and I still get in trouble at times when I tease her for her mechanical ineptitude... (As in yes, she has actually admitted to doing it!)
Had another female acquaintance that after having been instructed by her father to mix two stroke oil for her old scooter, applied the same logic to her car once she got her driving license without really asking first... It didn't like having two stroke oil added to the mix really, as it clogged the injection up pretty fast...
