Newbie questions

1. It seems to make a jingle/rattle noise when in gear and moving, goes if you pull in the clutch and also on overrun. Is this normal transmission noise? It's not loud,just irritating, you can hear it over the engine/exhaust.

It might pay to check that the final drive chain is not catching on the exhaust link pipe by being to slack, as when you are on the power the chain will have more slack in the bottom run of the chain.

You do have some grand roads around you, that resurfaced on down there to the temple was a bit slippy mind.

That's the Eskdalemuir raod from Ettrick, I heard they resurfaced that and some loose stuff everywhere.
We do have some brilliant roads but the trouble is we also have many cars that seem to think the white line in the centre of the road is to be lined up with the middle of there car! It's fine when you are driving the truck but the bike?
It kind of makes it hard to commit to a tight bend.
