given my running total is now 6 points following my lack of attention on the M42 getting nabbed at 67mph in the variable speed limit :( , I will be spending as much time as I can as the tail gunner 8O .............. have to make sure I dont get frustrated :D

Glad! Every time I ride my storm I'm glad to get off. Partly because it's too easy to speed on, don't think I'm ready for that kind of responsibility yet :shifty:

You'll get done for impeding and holding up traffic then, or is that not punishable here? I can't remember

Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse the groups, I understand the groups objectives from your first post explaining how it all goes down on the weekend, I guess I just slipped into the phrase "fast & slow" :(

My original question was just to see how leisurely the leisurely group was, but has been well explained to me now and I think it's the group for me, as my rear is going to be sore after Fridays stint. Good breaks and scenery will be just the job :)
Cheers
For the oldies we need more piss stops

That's a very kind offer Jamie thanks but no thanks, I'm going to get new ones. It's not just those anyway though it 's most urgent if I keep riding. Its the Exhaust which is going to take the time. I will be waiting on parts with bike out of action and all sorts. Well if it's any help, and you wanna pay the postage or get someone to collect, you are welcome to use daves standard cans and pipes until you get sorted?

Jamoi wrote:Ok brill cheers, i don't want anyone to think I'm hoping to go stupid and ride on the edge, just didn't want to sit behind cars when a (sensible) overtake is possible.

I do ride very sensibly, there's too much to lose, and watching a lot of supposedly "fast" riders makes my blood boil when you see their road craft, or lack of! I'm sure everyone here will have the head screwed on. I think the leisurely group will be perfect :)
:cool2 Indeed... :biggrin Any fool can ride fast....The skill is in the stopping!

I think we have a friend wanting to tag along,if he coming, he'll ride up with us anyway early doors Sat morning. He has a Honda but not a VTR, I hoped/didn't think anyone would mind, it has taken him months to get his bike back out on the road and he really could do with a good ride out..

Well things are looking good for me to make the weekend and i will have a mate (another welshy) who's also a fellow stormer in tow :) Not sure what time we will head out because of wrapping up work, all being well will be on the move late afternoon Friday. If you want to make the attendees list a little longer.. TufftyVTR... or something like that is his forum name. I made the account for him but he hasn't got a pc at home so still waiting for him to show up on here and say hello.

Just checked the members list... tufftysvtr that be him
