First up a recomendation for AM Philpot (Hard Chrome) Ltd, Unit D, Cradock Road Ind Estate, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU4 0JF, Tel: 01582 571234.
I had the stanchions on my Suzuki GT250 re-chromed by them back in 2004 for, if I remember correctly, £120 the pair. Despite the poor storeage of the bike, which has led to the decorative chrome on the bike flaking, the stanchions are unmarked. They're not cheap but they are top quality.

Next up a question. Does anyone know of a chrome platers that will do good quality work on two stroke exhausts? I know most platers won't tough them as the hydrocarbons bugger up the chemical vats, however I know it must be doable as I've seen some re-plated on E Bay.
