Where did you get yours done Chric?? email him and ask him the dimensions, he is a member I think he joined when AP got his seat done, that way, you'll know. I know I made sure when I ordered my own, I specifically asked him NOT to build up pilly seat as my gel seat was a double on my old VTR and I couldn't get the seat cover on back
So this time I made sure as i don't take pillions anyway and as AP says, spot on.. You could have pretty much what you want but when I saw mine in black n white, I thought " That'll look lovely with red panels" and it looks wicked. He also did the 'lift' at the front on Daves seat to avoid what men call 'ball crush'

I think anything else HAS to be better than sitting on what one can only best describe as a 'pallet of breeze blocks' My old Gel seat was super comfy even after hundreds of miles so I have no doubt this will be lovely and just perfect my derrière He does a lift at the front for your gentlemans protection thing!

I'd imagine even if the pilly part weren't as built up, he can still do that and make it so the cowel can fit over the top. I did ask but I don't do pillion riders, so I just got normal nice new padding in the pilly part. He said he can do that though and I'd of thought, the price he's selling it for, it might already be done at the back? Either way, it's a lovely looking seat.. Mine's in transit so I'm all excited!
