Greetings

Check the fuses, and then connections. Search for wiring diagram ( http://cl.ly/0P0D0H390C2o3y3E0d3T ) and also consider replacing unfinned self-cooking R/R if you have an early '97-'01 storm.

Thank you for your prompt response!
And for the wiring diagram!!

I can't think of bulb issue, because there is no connection between little light an gauge lights(!) Also She's making some sort of (like a bearing) noise coming from the fr cylinder. (it is another matter but i hope to solve these issues, because i fell in love with this bike!

Thank you again!!

The noise could be problematic. Recommend you don't ride it till you identify and fix the cause. Esp as the VTR has a weakness with the CCTs (Cam Chain Tensioners) which have a nasty habit of self-destructing in a binary way. The noise is like the proverbial nits and bolts in a cement mixer.

Spend some time in the Workshop Knowledgebase to get a sense of the common problems and their fixes.

Post your location in your profile and lets see a pic of your bike!

I Believe that I'm dealing with CCT for Front Cylinder,
I had too much work with the bike. I've changed Clutch fiber discs, oil+filter, chain with sprockets and a backlight bulb. I bought also 2 spark plugs
a pair of LED flashlights with flasher FR. I'm gonna change the front CCT (I'll order one) and spark plugs myself and place those LED for starters.
I';ll place photos including all the work that will be done!! Kindly advise anything else to look out, because I want to take care of that doll...

You're a bit far for a UK member to drop by to lend a hand! There are a couple or three Greek VTR owners registered on the site. Once you sort it out you'll have a great reliable bike good for many sunny miles.

Snap! Is it the cans or the full titanium exhaust system?

Your priority should be the CCT's. For the the electrical fault with the gauge lights, I would start with checking the regulator rectifier in particular the earth. If you have a multimeter follow the tests in the guide in my signature.

Good morning!

My beauty's got only the Zero cans titanium (motoriwaki). Thank you for your info!! I'll change the front CCT and oil. They put Honda's 10w30, which sucks (sorry) and the reason to change it with Motul 5100. Have you any experience with any particular oil? Sorry for messing with the topic!

Good day at work everybody!

There are many similar threads on oil preferences, they are a bit like asking what beer is best to get drunk on Try motorcycle 10w/40 semi-synthetic as some bikes get clutch slip with full synthetic.

Good day!

Problem solved!! I made some mods on the bike and had the chance to check the bulbs. So, the front little bulb, i discovered it was dead (burned) and it was 3W instead of 5W(it's written above the bulb for gods sake!)!!! Time to check my second not-functioning bulb, the gauge bulb. I remove it, it was not burned but it was old and blackish! I placed it back in and it was all working!!!! Very happy!!
