Welcome aboard mate, my brother in law lives in San Diego.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

I know is not a vrt but the fz6 is just as fun... I get 170miles a tank compared to 85miles on my hawk.. I got to say, fz6 on the freeway suck.. I find my self looking for 7th gear almost all the time, while you can cruise @80mph comfortably on 4th or 5th on my superhawk.. I got to admit after my cam chain tentioner fail due to me being a newbie. . I though it was never going to run again... so I used $$ I had saved to but a pick up and got a really good deal on a miss treated 07 fz6 with 14k miles.. :D wife wasn't happy but my motorcycle addiction was satisfied....

You got it. Bits is slang for parts so for example one may say "which bits do you need".
