Back again with another question. Can anyone tell me how tight the bolt that goes through the rear swing arm should be. Handling of the bike has been a bit strange but I was just giving a clean and noticed one of the platic caps missing by the gear change footrest. Under further inspection the bolt on that side wasn't even done up. I then noticed the rear brake hanger was all loose as we'll.
any tips on how this should be. I've only ridden the bike a couple of times and this is the first real look over I've gave it. Now makes me think what else is wrong.
Thanks in advance

Re: Swing arm
Download the searchable manual in the Worksop Knowledgebase, and keep it for reference. Off the top of my head 90oddN/m or sumfink so best double check before you use your torque wrench.

All bolted up and secure! Looks like some work ahead...I then noticed the rear brake hanger was all loose as we'll.

Re: Swing arm
You wont need a new nut, just do it up
it's torqued up tight enough so wint come loose. If you want a bit of added security then locktite/threadlock it. Sounds like you need to give the bike a good going over and check all the important nuts and bolts with the brake hanger loose as well. Also make sure the allen bolt that holds the rearsets on is tight.

Thanks guys. Just goes to show how much you have to check over when buying used bike.
Once torqued up ill check handling again.
Time to do a full check over like you say. Don't want nothing else being loose.
