Post by agentpineapple »

RRW calipers are the same exact size (pistons) as the F4i units so it will work. As this MC has a realtively small pistons size, it will give you teh most line pressure, hence squeeze, though that will come at teh cost of longest lever travel. If you can swing it, radial unit is a nice upgrade as its added rigidity gives better feel.....

I picked up a radial m/c for a 04 blade and might give it a go

I personally ran a Nissin 19x18 (from a 2006 ZX-6R; identifiable by the "3/4" or "19" (forget which) cast into the bottom) and it went well, though I prefer the Brembo (OEM Ducati; Monster 1100) I also tried (it's a 19x16, so longer throw but softer feel and more power). The Nissin 19x18 is a fairly common unit (aformentioned ZX-6R, various Triumphs, mid-2000 Gixxers,....). I have never tried the Nissin 17.5 x18 (has an "11/16" cast in the bottom) which is used on CBRs and late-model GSX-Rs (post 2008 IIRC) so can't comment on it..... Hope this helps

My 04 blade m/c is a 11/16 .
I might try it on the f4i brakes if I get the lines in time
