The VTR is awaiting the arrival of new fairing panels from the land of the rising Yen! Been a month thus far and still not here. Missed the Red ride today and the glorious weather! Oh well another glass of Talisker will make it feel better!
im surprised its taknig you this long to get the vtr back to former glory such a shame for it to happen to an example like that,

Sorry Lloyd, had that

It was so much fun the first time out, that I snuck out to have another. Just got back, oohhhh... It handles restriction so well, thankfully (I'd cry if it didn't, after yesterday).

It's so nice being able to actually overtake stuff, and doing it in 5th is wombles nice!

Hit a bid of wood with a hammer you mean. And then I got you to do the dirty work and slide your arm down inside the can to check for packing.

I've put a couple of rivets in the holes temporarily now.

Failed to remove bearings from swingarm linkages! So then proceeded to polish them.. not sure why! I will have another crack at it tomorrow.

Tidied up my rebound adjusters

Removed 3 exhaust studs, snapped one off! Miraculously managed to get it out with a file, spanner & hammer!

Started polishing and dismantling the mori headers.

Tripped over a clipon, then called it a night! :D

Hmm not really! A massage from Kiera Knightly, now there's an idea.

The clip-on was kicking about on the floor (incredibly unkempt I know) and I have clowns feet

PlusGas arrived so the hugger bolt in the swingarm and the footrest stay bolt got liberal doses of it. Dremel-type rotary whatsit tool arrives tomorrow so I'll be trying to "slot the b8stard" as the SAS would no doubt say.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
