SWAP??

Post by saint »

I'd swap ya mine, how much would you be looking for yours for?
It's black, baided hoses, aftermarket filter, pirelli diablo's, yoshimura RS3's (not RL but can fit db killers)+ originals, double bouble new CCT's, etc. only downside is that it's done 33k miles. I have just gone home for a week on it (germany) 1500 miles with 0 problems

I hardly manage to get bike out of the garage.
could you post a pic and some specs?

I wouldn't want a straight swap, obviously I would be paying the difference from what your bike is worth to what mine is worth.

The mille was always one of my dream machines

Just let me know in due course. As I's rather have a private sale/buy than going to the dealers that would rip me off.

Thats really nice bike...........downpipe would benefit fron a rub with wire wool then sone solvol followed by lots of WD40 which gives a nice coppery tone after a while.
Really neat colour scheme though, makes my black one look a bit stale
it may be clever, but its not big.

yay!!! we knew aprilla couldnt keep you intrested for long!! Although how easy its going to be finding a dark yellow storm i dunno.....Surely with things like braided hoses and sintered pads you can just fit them yourself afterwards?

ps- im back on standard cans now, god they dont half sound shite!

LOOL@SCOOBIE, have u raced any bikes in it yet?

To be honest, i wouldnt say waiting is a bag thing, after all you will appreaiacte it that much more when you have it! It took me about 6 months to find my storm, and when she arrived i almost wet myself with joy!

Can the other half not fit stuff for you?

NICE ONE@MR2 now thats respect :-) :-) :-)

I see your point about the stuff being already fitted, i was just thinking along the lines that because your after a specific model, if your looking for that specific model with specific mods it may make the search harder? mind you ebays good next month for bikes, when all the sunday warriors sell theirs before winter!

I know what u mean about "certain" riders....although i think after wheeliing thru the local village highstreet im prolly going to have that reputation now! but its true, theres always one who will over taking that car turning right "just to be inthe lead" ...theres a word for people like that....fiddler!
