I went out with a girl once who came home with the statement:

"My petrol tank has got bigger".

"Sorry....?".

"My petrol tank has got bigger"

"What do you mean.....?"

"Well, last time I filled the car up I only managed to put £35`s worth in it, this time I managed to get £38........"

"Nothing to do with the price of petrol going up last week then.........?!"

When I watched the vid at the top, I couldn't help thinking... Well, I guess that's how she would add oil to a cooking pot :)

While "helping " on the old RAC/ACU school of trying to learn to ride a bike without
A) falling off
B) killing yourself or
C) getting told off by your mum for (A) or (B) above,
I came across two people who stretched credulity a little farther than I was ready for.

#1:
I've put washers under the spark plug thread of my FS1E as leaving less of the thread of the plug poking into the head must mean that there's more space for the mixture and spark- maybe 60cc.........
#2: I'v e polished the brake disc on my SS50 with Autosol to make it shinier and smoother, therefore more of the dic is in contact with the pad, which makes it brake better than bikes with grooves on their discs........

Both were male, btw....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

#3: I've painted my bike blue as I've been told by a reliable source in the East End of London that it WILL make it faster...He lied BTW. A/ About the speed. B/ About being reliable.

All were male, btw....
Making up since 2007, sometimes it's true...Honest...

i worked in an Austin /Rover garage once and a women with a brand new "Montego" complained that she was told that her brand new car may use some oil in the first couple of months, so keep an eye on it, she complained that it wouldnt start after topping up the oil, i was sent round to find that she had added almost a gallon, ( it was not metric then guys) to the car and had totally filled it up to the filler cap!!! she hydrauliced it!!!
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

You'll need to get Lloydie a top box by then, so he can store an extra few litres of engine oil
