hi took the plunge in august and bought a black storm 98 plate off road in parents garage for the winter jobs
got a moriwaki bellypan to paint forks to change just another set of storm ones at the moment, put manual ccts on, get rear subframe powder coated
give her a service already got braided hoses and blueflame high level cans and vfr clip ons things have slowd now when I snapped exhaust stud in front cylinder then snapped extractor in it arggghhhh bugger if I cant get it out ill either swap front cylinder or engine have to see how it goes hopefully after winter ill get some pics up

Welcome to the forum.

Snapping the extractor is not good, you wont drill that out easily. Remove the head and get an engineering shop to drill it out or buy another front head. It's an easy job to swap the head. The biggest problem is finding one, and when you do they are generally more expensive.

Be carefull not to wreck the head, take it off & get it spark erroded, they can it all out including the stud,

Shame about the snapped stud, but as Carl said it is way easier to remove he front head than take the engine out......because there is a risk that one of the engine bolts can ge corroded and that will drive you crazy trying to get that out!
