Post by cupasoop »

Well, actually it dosnt...... but it does compaired to some of these. Was doing a bit of a fantasy bike shopping yesterday and came accross these.

Speakers on and turn them up............

http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Sounds.htm

I thik i'm in love with the guzzi v8, or the 1957 Gilera 4, or the 1967 MV 3 Honda 4, or the 1965 Benelli 4, or the 1966 MV4, or the 1965 Reid Redman....oh bugger it, i want all of them!

Listen to the modern ones at the bottom of the page to hear just how bad we have it these days. Bloody noise regulations

Bianci twin...super...my favorite (did you hear that RRRRumble on overrun!!!)

That's what I like most in my bike sound - that overrung thunder-like sound....

Did you noticed how many old Triumphs and Nortons sounds similar to WWII fighter planes?....my favourite kind of engine sound.
Check that out (warning - it starts playing loudly immediately as you open that URL!):
http://www.spitcrazy.com/spitsound.htm
And compare it with faceless pig-scream of contemporary GP ....phew...
