Post by magnum »

Hi every one just popping in to say Hellooo,
bean away from bikes for some while (1986)cb 900f

spotted something yellow in local bike shop (custom bike in troston) had to have a look fired it up and I was hooked
price tag was to much for my budget finally got one off gumtree a fue weeks ago .
Havent bean out much as roads are a right mess around here (s/beet factory near by) but what a great bike love the sound coming up from
under tank addictive and that toque brill.
Have seen resent poll on fastest colour looks like I chose well its YELLOW  with purple wheels :?: .

Welcome to the forum, I think the reason Yellow won was because people of other colours felt sorry for the poor thing and poured their votes into it, instead of their own colour.

In all serious though, welcome. the purple wheels sounds.. interesting

Hello and welcome

good to see more people getting storms. Will be better after winter when the sun comes back out. You will really be able to explore what the bike has to offer. You won't be dissapointed

Great stuff, I usually nip over to the green on a Wednesday evening for a burger and a bloated bimble on the bike, keep me posted and we can talk storms.

Have you read this? http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=31345 Some important info in there to keep your storm working properly.

Any pics of your yellow machine? :D

Welcome Mark,

So you'll need to:

A) Check/replace RR
B) Fit Manual CCTs
C) Grease rear linkage
D) Respray Black

Then it'll be a well sorted Storm
