what have you done to your "bike" today
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Rear brake and clutch lines fitted & bled. 19 Litre tank fitted for the first time, along with re fitting of fairings, mirrors etc. Balanced carbs ( not that they really needed it ) and finally fired her up first time since DJ kit went in. Ready for a quick nut and bolt check tomorrow, and maybe a ride tomorrow morn or Thursday.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Wind was nuts down this neck of the woods last night. I thought the roof was going to blow off at one stage.Da Fuq is with this weather sun was shining so i thought balls to it ill go get fuel and nip to halfords get a few things

I haven't been a fan of Haynes manuals for years, since they changed all the format around back in the IIRC late 80's early 90's. They do have little snippets that you might not get in another manual but I would not go and buy a new one because of it.
Have you not been here yet Seb carlsalter.com
Sounds to me like winter is starting to take it's toll on your bike a bit. Same as mine...another reason I wanted to wash the crud of it today. Had problems starting the other day, so cleaned up the stater and plug hole drain plug. Got to sort my rear brake out ASAP as well. Strip down, clean, new pads, bleed and see why my rear stop light is not working. I'm hoping it's not the Goodrige pressure switch.
What do I want for Christmas.....some nice sunny weather and the money to go out buy a load of parts and give the bike some TLC

Ayy......tomorrows Christmas Day

Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas Seb.

I just noticed....you have a Mori filler cap.
I was wondering about the mori blanking caps they do for other bikes whether they would be a nice replacement for the plastic ones. I think some time next year I will have to try and speak Japanese and contact them and throw a few questions at them. Like what's the diameter on the outside of them and the clippy bits.
You never know there may some that will fit. I also want a keyring, some stickers, oil filler cap and few other little bits.
