For the difference in price I would go with the genuine ones considering there is not much in it.

Get some small bore rubber pipe 6mm may be and cut it along the length . Sorted.

That's what I use... Black petrol pipe cut in half and glued on with silicon

Make a mould of one and use a Devcon Flexane kit to make another or as many as you need.

Just make your own from a chuck of rubber. It only needs a slot cut into it to fit onto the tank edge. Rubber matting found in horse stables should do the job
