What's annoyed you today??

Riding over to Bristol tomorrow morning. I have three possible routes :

1 ) Motorways : 210 miles.. 3 hours ( according to satnav.. like it will take that long )

2 ) Avoiding motorways and using dual-carriageways and stuff : 202 miles... 8 hours ( according to satnav again )

3 ) Windy roads : 225 miles... 7 hours ( I'll let you guess what was gonna go in here )

Now granted it's not difficult to beat the satnav, but daaammnnn. Kinda forcing me into a corner I don't wanna be in. I'd rather not sit on the motorways for agesss

no ride is a fun ride given the recent winds and weather, i would just get wrapped up and get on the motorway 200 mile will be gone in no time

You might want some bar muffs mind, one thing the gixxer is great for is its wind protection on the hands with the shape of the front fairing your hands dont get wind blast like the storm does

i remember one time after doing about 100 mile or so on the storm and coming off to fill up again it was a cold day my hands wouldnt work i couldnt grab the clutch or brake ended up sort of using my wrists wasnt fun, i got bar muffs after that

Yeah, motorway was always going to be the answer given the choices I had. I just hoped that I'd be able to have some fun along the way :/

I'll see how it goes, when I did Rugby to Essex last Saturday I wasn't cold in the slightest. I just have a set of winter gloves that work really well, don't even wear inner gloves with them.. And they cost me all of £20

I ,ll .tell you whats annoyed me today....

the low sun in the sky. as you know it was a nice day today so I went about 25 miles northish and it was great. turned round to come back it was nearly impossible to see. doing 50 or 60 down a b road with the sun flashing light/dark through trees and hedges was like being in a 70,s disco !!
at one point I could only do about 15 or 20 cos I could not see a thing, nearly totalled a woman walking her dog

bought somthing in error in a rush from Argos and paid cash and used my card for about 15 quid too

going to return it later today, will i be able to get cash back or will they try and palm me off with bloody vouchers does any one know
