Cheers Darkember, I think you'll find that graphite powder is meant for lubricating the lock cylinder tumblers (as Carl pointed out to me, I'd not come across this product before) and key making the key operate the lock easier,

I have always taken my plugs apart, gin barrels and cleaned them then sprayed GT85 about re connected etc and never had a problem, with the battery terminal i have cleaned and put grease over the top once tightened, thats always worked for me. :D

oh and the KY is for pushing hoses onto hose tails and the like, NO sexual stuff before i get chastised with elbow jokes please!!!

Yeah but Dialectic grease does all that...from one tube...BTW do you drink a lot of Gin then ?

I use carlube silicone grease for the electrics on the tuono.

No problem so far.

You can buy dialectric grease which the proper thing for the job from Harley Davidson dealers, dont ask how I know this! :)

Conductive or non conductive :think: Air is a conductor especially if it contains moisture so by applying dielectric grease would this be more or less conductive. TBH I'm not sure it would make much of a difference on such small voltages. You just need some kind of protection from rusting contacts and keeping a smooth action for any moving parts.
