Made plates up to relocate the standard pillion pegs as the after market hangers I have are to flimsy for my liking .
Now they will be strong and the exhaust angle be a little sharper too .
Also fitted it's new 8x6" number plate and I started to open the cans for repacking .
One was easy but the other is now soaking in wd over night as it won't separate .

@mac congrats on new red

Spanked it from Colchester to Bristol. Well, apart from the M25 where it was filtering through traffic for almost an hour

Fitted s/s front exhaust studs .
Finished stripping the viper cans then gave them a sanding down then a polish .
Sorted the garage out again now I'm waiting for more parts before anything else can be done .

Washed it and waxed the chain ready for some dry, non blowy weather tomorrow then out for a blast, followed by removing the forks for Roger to do the fork re-form, Yahoo
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!
Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Sprayed the SP1 front wheel, test fitted the Woodcraft clip ons, shoved a bit more glass fibre in the airbox I'm making, stripped the old clip ons and remembered that I'll need to order new twist grip and LH clip on rubbers, and drill holes in the bars for the switchgear.
And gave up getting a pair of USD forks apart, so bought a lovely new pair of stanchions c/w lower castings for the Blade conversions I'm still in the middle of.....£138. Not too bad, I thought they'd be 2nd hand so was well pleased to discover they were new, still in Honda packaging and came with new slider bushes, seals and dust caps
Me nice new vented carbon mudguard will go well with those.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Today I are mostly be, freezin my pinkies off!
Made some hangers for my zorsts (temp) which steepen the angle up nicely

And test fitted undertray, now I gotta rub it down and spray it black.
Had a good chat with Wicky, now I understand what a relay is and have a good idea of what I'll need to order from Eastern beaver when I have the money.
I might fit the tank and front fairing and go for a ride tomorrow
Might do a little man wee!

How did you get them cans ( look sh1t hot by the way) at that angle? did you cut the original zorst mounting lugs off?

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Thank man
I just made some hangers which are a bit shorter than the standard ones with footpegs. Then the exhaust and link pipe swivel on the connection to the headers.
Easy peasy! Just gotta have shorter hangers

Looking good Jamie. I like the angle you've put on the pipes. Did Wicky tell you that the relay was an Olympic event? If so he may be lying to you!!!!!
