Send them to Bazza & he converts them to manuals, it's the only sensible thing to do with them, unless some wants a couple of paperweights ...

It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Re: original CCT.
I don't think there is any difference in the CCT's. And even if there was, it would mean nothing. The problem was never with the CCT's themselves, it's not their fault they don't get enough oil in the front cylinder.bigtwinthing wrote:

It's either stopper mod or manuals, nothing else is safe

I have the late model bike on an 05 plate and I saw nothing equating to fins when AMCQ performed the stopper mod for me, nor have I heard that anywhere else.bigtwinthing wrote:

no probs, i read it somewhere or it was on u tube , i read the failure was due to oil shortage and the tensioners have different grooves or something, i haven't seen the old type so can't compare them.

Or Splash with Darryl Hannah, topless for two frames if you look closely.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: original CCT.
wasn't there something about the new improved models having an orange dot marked on them? ?
bazza had my old manuals to convert.
I wonder who got em ?

Apparently the only difference was...the colour of the paint they used to make the dot...lumpyv wrote:wasn't there something about the new improved models having an orange dot marked on them? ?
