Haven't been on the bike since August, took the blanket off, stood and admired it for a few minutes, then finally connected the optimate battery charger, and put the blanket back over her.

They are std bore but 11.5-1 compression, fitted some a few years ago to a mates bike, paid for themselves in a month due to lack of front tyre wear

What difference does the compression make?

It's like putting your weiner in something tight, rather than sloppy.

Today I put tank on, battery in, tail tidy & slightly smaller number plate (so the Mori's have a clear path when I eventually fit them), led indicators + relay (much brighter and more aerodynamic), fairings on.

Then I fired the old girl up! Warmed the engine up gently for 10 mins and flicked it off. Runs nicely now all the exhaust joints are properly sealed.

Just got to bleed clutch/brakes and I could go for my first ride of 2014!

Then I've got to set suspension up. Still got lots more to do, but at least I can go for a ride now :)

Pink bodywork? Yep I'd take that over silver, do you reckon a gloss baby blue with white numberboards would go well?

The single Mori can i have in the garage is patiently waiting for it's ugly twin to weld itself up! :(

In honesty I think there's too much black for a light-ish colour like silver. You could sell all your self-respect and dignity to join the blue brotherhood, red rangers or yellow yobs though. Or that idea you kept telling me about, which I think would look a bit nice as it's a little bit darker.
