flywheel

Hi gents, i need some expert advise please. Bought a flywheel off the bay, supposidely came from a running engine, but look at the inside of it. There are massive holes in the thing. Wanted to get it lightened for my bike

Dont think it will be safe to use will it?

As others have said scrap

That's the worst I've seen other then the one a guy sent to me for lightening and it looked like it was beat off the crankshaft with a hammer and three jaw puller

yeah ive opened a case and nicely explained to him that it is in no working order at all! see if he responds as nicely hey

LLoydie, please tell him to give me a pm when he wants to sell it. Also, who is the prefferred engineer to get these lightened and balanced? I see there is a place in northampton that does it, but thought ill use someone that can be recommended
