Weird!! I just read the "unread" posts and Carl and Lee's posts weren't there!

Then I read your post just now and then they appear!
I have had that happen a fair bit recently. It throws one as I have had a whole page of posts appear before posting mine that where not there before. It affects what one replies in a post as we use what has been said previously.

Hey, yeah ive had the rear end off and replaced all the bearings, so that should be fine.

I had a fiddle and got the static sag to around 8mm and set the rebound to return as quickly as possible but not violently.

Just need to get a lil' helper to help me set the front and rear up as best as we can.

I think the reason I panicked (hence the thread) I've never adjusted a shock before or seen a shock return so slowly! Also there was a creaking noise, which I have now diagnosed.. it was the rear brake hose rubbing on the swingarm brace, i've got a braided hose which looks like a good fit, so that will solve that! :)
