Now got the "Rogered Forks on" I like the black forks and they seem great but no road test till 9th feb. Renthals on with the fairing dremmelled and i think it looks good. WP shock to do after the holiday.
i was so careful with the dremel, i practised on some old fairings i had for hrs first, overall very pleased, and cleaned the forks up with the dremel too.Kev L wrote:Nice looking job on the fairing matey

Do it go one you know it's rightCkennedy wrote:Looks goodI keep wondering about the top yoke conversion
I've seen the state of your fairings, you wouldn't notice that top bit being cut off...cybercarl wrote:+1
But the one thing that puts me off doing this, is the cutting of the fairing. It just niggles me loosing the continuation of the outer lip. Keeps catching my eye! If I ever ended up going down this route I would body-fill a rounded lip back and re-spray. Easy for me to say as my fairing could do with some repairs and re-spraying anyway. It's a bit different with a perfectly good fairing.
