Re: Crash Bobbins
From the items location in sunny California USA they are more likely to have bought and fitted by US Superhawk ( http://www.superhawkforum.com ) owners rather any UK VTR owners. The offset dog leg style of bolt mounting means it should do what they claim and not require drilling into panels - look at where your engine mounting bolts are immediately behind the fairing panel. They are unbranded so I suspect they are imported in from China so quality wise its caveat emptor.
edit. 8541Hawk is 30 miles or so from where they are being sold.

Re: Crash Bobbins
I have these fitted to my bike. I can confirm they are easy to fit and don't require any cutting of the fairing. I'm not sure how effective they would be in a crash scenario having never put them to the test.fiero wrote:would the below one would fit without any drilling on the fairing ?
