Re: rear foot rests
Easy you need some different hangers.
Like these...

Bought these from a fellow member a couple of years ago so no link to a sales site I'm afraid.
However if you want them I'm willing to part with them...

Re: rear foot rests
You can do it with high levels by anchoring the straps to the subframe. Not sure how you would hide the brackets on low levels though.

Re: rear foot rests
I have stubby cans so could the link pipe bracket hold the cans enough

Re: rear foot rests
You can't see them at all while riding, so all good there then.reggy5 wrote:thanks all but I don't want to see the bracket, is this possible or am I just being a turd? lol
Fixed!
And you only have to clean the clocks and bars, anything in peripheral vision doesn't need more then a wipe with a rag and everything else can stay dirty until the rain stops.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
Re: rear foot rests
I wouldn't want to rely on just the low link pipe brackets on the footrests! I should think your stubbies would be wobblies quickly followed by gonies and then ferking noisies!!!!!
