what have you done to your "bike" today

I don't think you have enough lip covering the chain. How's that going to stop the sprocket falling off if it comes loose. Doesn't it require a cover over the sprocket for an MOT. How about cutting shapes out of an OM sprocket cover. A window bit like doing a clutch cover so you have a bar a bit like Coerse going across it.

And I think it was just something to tinker with to get my fix for the day but what was good about it was I noticed the slave cylinder leaking a little so I can fix that next week :-) when I fit a standard one back on,
Oh and I really need a shorter clutch line as this on is about 10 inch to long .

You need something to cover the sprocket with, its got to be contained (sort of) if the nuts comes off! its still gonna bloody lock up but its to stop you getting your fingers fought in it.etc. How many of us have caught them in the rear chain when lubing or cleaning. and also in the event of an accident it doesn't chew anyone up!!!

My mates bike has a red sprocket and has cut it all off except the bolt housings etc, it looks sort of good!!! but i don't want to see mine particularly anyway!! but what ever floats ya boat. Your bike looks well smart and i probably wouldn't notice the sprocket anyway tbh!

took a few more parts off this morning, I can't remember the order of removal tho, should I prop the bike up from the underside (exhaust is off, so I can rest the bike on its sump) take the rear wheel off, then unbolt the rear shock, then tack the forks and front wheel off, lastly unbolt the frame, I spoke to my travelling spanner monkey buddy today, he was still in the back of beyond, I think he'll need waterwings to get back to londonium..

I very much doubt it would pass an mot lloydie, I had something similar on the spondon framed bike..

How about adding some type of mesh, similar to the stuff Seb put over his rads etc, so that you get the same effect but with a little more protection (!) from the sprocket.
Or you could add leaded windows................
