CK you may want to consider some heat resistant lacquer if those headers are looking like new. I put 2 solid days work into polishing mine and they just go rusty again unless you keep on top of it and give them a clean once a week or something. It's heartbreaking to put that much work into something only to see them go back to how they where.

I have not tried this yet but VHT do a clear heat resistant lacquer designed for exhausts.

Carl if I go back to standard headers, I'll try some of that laquer  I reckon the metal will still go a goldie colour but should stop them going cruddy!

Finished cleaning up the brake discs and now they look new :-) .
Dragged it out the garage for a wash as it really needed it .
Then gave it a polish then a coat of Finns wax and to finish a coat of hydra wax ImageImage
Nice and clean and shiny once again
