OK all could someone please clarify something for me?
Cylinder head bolts: 1: There are 6 main 10mm bolts that need to be torqued to 53Nm.
2: There are 2 small bolts 5mm that need to be torqued to 5Nm.
Ok in the Honda manual page 14, it states there are 2 cylinder head sealing bolts that are 12mm and need to be torqued to 32Nm. The quantity 2 also means there is only one/cylinder. I would like to know where would this bolt be found?? I won't be removing it as it seems to have nothing to do with the cylinder head removal. I would just like to clarify what it is.
Cylinder head question
Re: Cylinder head question
When you look inside the head, with the cam cover off, there appear to be two hex set screws, one in each head. I've never removed one, but it might be one those they're on about.
I can't even think what they would be for, without going out to have a look inside a head.
Probably something to do with access for machining that's never needed again after they're assembled.
They're just adjacent to the spark plug position, behind the "wall" that surrounds the plug and encloses it.
Like you say, ignore and forget.

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
