Oil capacity

Hi gents I'm new I tried to down load the manual with know successes so can any one tell me how many litres of engine oil do they holed. I have a 1997 vtr 1000 Lov the bike and the sound :clap:

3.9lt plus a bit for the filter.
It may only be my opinion but it's mine!

4.1 liters if u change the filter. Which u deffinatley should

Welcome to the forum Basil.

Are you trying to download the manual from the following link

IIRC we had someone else recently having problems downloading the manual. After some testing I think it came down to the browser being used. Internet Explorer on Windblows being the problem as usual :roll: Try downloading with a better more secure browser that actually does as it''s supposed to do like Firefox and dare I say it, even Chrome. Google are spying on you anyway so you might as well use Chrome :lol:
