i just bought a set of APE CCT's and im deciding weather i'm gonna do it myself
With the bits you have mentioned so far, flywheel, clutch , suspension etc. I'm sure your more than capable of doing the tensioners yourself. I suspect it's the timing side of things that are putting you off. But if there's an opportunity to learn a bit from old hands :lol: Then that's always a good thing. Sometimes people need to see something done the first time rather than follow a manual.

Fitting manual ccts is not difficult, just need to check engine is set at tdc before you remove tensioners, most of the time in doing the job is removing tank, carbs fairing etc.i have made my own manual ccts.
