Powerbronze fairing lowers (SOLD)

Post by Jamoi »

Big twin thing has 1st refusal as previously discussed...

Here you go mate, I haven't had a chance to look at them yet so will give you more details on condition and price (relating to condition) when I've cast my eyes over them..

Anyway this is how they look on the bike:

To keep within the rules I must say a price, so I'll say £50.

******************

Update:

Just popped into the bike cave to cast my eyes over the fairing lowers.

The bad points:

There is a crack between the thin rear section which has been repaired using a metal joining strip.

There is a square section missing underneath. Which could be easily repaired and is underneath the bike anyway.

The good bits:

The top lugs are solid and original, the general condition of the visible plastic is good, someone has braced the joining lugs at the bottom with a strip of metal which seems a really good idea and I may do that to the ones on my bike. Visible paintwork is good with no deep scratches.

Here's some pics, I have arrowed the two faults in the first pic:

Image

Below: the black paint is very shiny and the pics make the reflections look like scratches which they are not!

Below: 2 of 3 brackets, hopefully Agent P has the rear one still attatched to his sidestand bolt!

You would have to supply your own x3 nut and bolts, probably M5 x 20mm would do it. To go through the fairing into the brackets.

I can dismantle, package up & post for £50

Or preferably pick up for £40.

It puts my one to shame. I'm letting the Black brotherhood down.
