Try fishing around with one of those extendable magnets or drop the sump cover first before you remove the engine. Never know, may get lucky

im in Hereford mate. I am gonna start with taking the sump off first and hope to god it is lying in the bottom of there otherwise its engine out and a full rebuild sh1t sake

Take the sump off and see if it can be found in there or give you better access.
