my birthday present to myself

Post by budd »

Well it's birthday time again I swear they seem to come round more frequently then they ever used to do, which led me to think I now have probably more birthdays to look back on than look forward to, in a nut shell time is running out.

With this in mind I thought sod it and decided to go out and treat myself, the my present to myself is in this box.

right first time, it kind of funny really when you start thinking about how old you are or when you retire you get a watch, so you can watch the rest of your life tick (or in this case) sweep away.

I know Breitling very well, nice village. No I''m not mad Jack Fuller. By the way if you become friends with an Iranian airline pilot they sell they Breitling watches off cheap to supplement their poor income or something. Mate of mine done that years ago.

It's a Breitling Super Ocean 44 and I agree I like the thought of all those gears and cogs whirring about inside, you don't need to wind this one up it's automatic or self winding just moving it around keeps it wound, if you take it off and leave it a couple of days it will stop and need resetting.
