you'll never live down the shame if you have to attend with a standard rear shock...lloydie wrote:Removed the wp rear shock and boxed it up ready to send off to Mct as it's returning far to slow after 5 miles .
Hope it'll be done it time for the work shop day
cheers lloydie, not sure about the grab rail tho, it makes life a lot easier when moving the bike around, but it spoils the look for me. I've also got some stomp grips to put on, but again i'm not sure about them...lloydie wrote:I know !! That looks great ap
is that the rebound returning slow? Mine seemed slow, but after a good ride and re adjustment it seems fine, i hope it is though, it does feel really good, but Iam No Mr Ohlins by any meanslloydie wrote:Removed the wp rear shock and boxed it up ready to send off to Mct as it's returning far to slow after 5 miles .

? I disagree there Jamie....... even if I am wearing jeans I use the stomp grip when braking to take the weight off my arms. only downside I have found is the marks on my inner thighs when I brought a wheelie down a bit to heavily. I gripped the tank between my thighs to prevent the ball / tank impact, but fecking hell sliding your legs along stompgrip under high loads is not fun [but still preferable to the flat ball dented tank option]Jamoi wrote:P.s If you wear leather trousers the tank/stomp grips are great. If you wear loose textiles, there's no benefit.

I had it on 4 feels great but 5 miles into a ride and it's solid , it won't return it it returns very slowly even on the softest setting .
So something is very wrong with it and my money (literally ) is on the damper adjuster failing .
But as it had a full service only last summer any defects should of been noticed and fixed .
So it's off back to them tomorrow for them (Mct) to put it right .
Mac v2 has kindly sold me ( very cheap ) a good standard shock and posted it next day delivery and should be here tomorrow so I can fit it to the bike so I can still use it .
Thanks again mac your a legend
